Watch the world walk past
from your window today and try not to fall.
I think I did that once.
And I did fall, a trip, a accidental stumble,
whatever you call it.
a shit─splat on the concrete pavement.
They just walked around me.
But I ended up someone else
hurrying down the street where I'd just died,
loosening my shirt collar and wondering what time I'd have to get home
before my wife would know I was cheating.
I don't think there was any door,
or white light, or judgement.
But maybe I got confused. Death does that to you.
But you're not like me, so you won't

tumble from the seventh floor. Honest, you won't, so try it.
When you do maybe gauge your reaction to the punks on the street,
hanging around and saying nothing to each other.
It'll tell you who you are.
But then you'd have to sort out
which thought was original
and which was what you think you should have thought -
─they're actually pretty cool─i hate them─they suck─they can be nice─they're interesting─
and then it all gets horribly complicated
and you end up not thinking because, hell, it's so much easier.
Should you?
I've got no advice on that.
Suicides-who-are-not don't usually give very good advice on life.

This line really caught me offguard. I actually cocked my head to the side when I read it. XD I like the specific context it gives the piece.
This definitely deserves a favourite.
